Well, right now, TeXmacs does that. (Symaxx does that to some extent,
also, but that's a different type of interface.)

Thanks (and to Paulo, too), I'll get to work on it.
The MuPAD version that I did could optionally give output in ascii or
TeX, the Maxima version should have this, also.
