Hi guys. I've taken the latest CODATA standards for physical constants and created a share package which defines them in Maxima. Haven't tested it exhaustively yet, but it seems to work OK in the new maxima. Doesn't work in 5.6 - for some reason it doesn't like h: 6.62606876*10^(-34)$ and possibly other definitions as well. Anyway, it's in the attached file and if you like James you're welcome to add it to the share/contrib section. One issue it raised - something of the form gamma[e] can't be defined as a variable in Maxima. What does gamma[e] actually represent? I know it's underscore when it displays, but what is it internally? CY __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
