example(...)  doesn't work with a recent CVS tree

Could not find `/usr/local/doc/manual.demo' using paths in 
FILE_SEARCH_DEMO

 (combined values:

 [/usr/local/{demo,share,share1,share2}/###.{dem,dm1,dm2,dm3,dmt}] 
)
 -- an error. Quitting. To debug this try 
DEBUGMODE(TRUE);)
