I have some knowledge of it. What do you want to know? It basically
takes the argument as a string. Then does a string search through all
of the info files until it finds a set of matches. It's a little more
complicated than that because it knows how the info files are
arranged, both the info file format itself and the way the
documentation is structured.
Conceptually, it wouldn't be too hard to have describe, say, start a
browser and have it show the right page from some HTML version of the
document.
