compile_file extensions

The extensions used for compile_file are "LISP" and "UNLISP".  I think
it would be nicer if they were "lisp" and "unlisp".

I have a simple patch ready for this.  Is there a reason I'm not aware
of for why the extensions need to be uppercase?
