Ijust read the README.lisps file and found there under the CMUCL entry
the following sentence: "Unfortunately, it does not include readline
support." Yes, that´s true, but I use it (MAXIM) always with ledit, as
well as cumcl and acl (if I'm not in (x)emacs).
If you don't know it try it, it is a nice line editor, allowing to use
control commands like in emacs or in shells (bash, tcsh). To be used
with interactive commands. It is written in Ocaml and Camlp4.
