1. maxima-local passes "-q" to CLISP (which suppresses the CLISP banner,
which can be seen as unfair to the CLISP developers who thus are
deprived credit for their work).
Maybe there should be an option to suppress both Maxima and CL
banner?
2. maxima-local does not pass "-norc" to CLISP (which makes CLISP load
the user ~/.clisprc which might not be a good idea).
It might be a good idea to let maxima-local accept an option
"--extra-lisp-arguments" which is passed to the underlying lisp.
3. xmaxima-local fails:
$ ./xmaxima-local
Error in startup script: can't read "maxima_priv(pTestsDir)": no such element in array

Thanks.
