To this end I've posted a zip file containing a release candidate Windows
installer exe for the "Traditional" version of GCL which should appear over
the next day or so on the GCL download site. Please try it out.
You can use DOS style contracted path names when selecting the location eg:
c:\progra~1\gcl-2.5.0.rc1
rather than
c:\Program Files\gcl-2.5.0.rc1.
It's about 16MB and contains Mingw gcc.
