A glance at planetmath.org suggests that it is pretty incoherent.
Writing a one-paragraph description of a deep concept that
can be read out of context is quite difficult. Free insertion
of entries without any central editorial policy seems to
contribute to the incoherence. But maybe there are parts (that
I didn't look at) that are much better.
