What would you say is the better tradeoff to have by
default? I don't propose we adobt Mathematica's bracket
use, but is InL1 that much worse than C1? Maybe so -
what would you say?
My compromise proposal is that perhaps when we create
init files for casual/new user use, we change the C
and D definitions there. In any case, I suspect we
will see more bug reports if things remain as they are.
