The fantastically good English of our non-native colleagues here on this
list -- I am impressed with every email! -- should not let us forget
that there are many *other* potential users who will know little or no
English.
Even though English is becoming the lingua franca of technical work,
there are still many many many people in the world -- even highly
educated engineers, let alone undergraduates and high school students --
who would be better served by documentation in other languages. So
let's keep that in mind in our documentation strategy.
