Request for PDF version of manual

Dear Bill,
Dear Colleagues,

According to Mike in his message of September 26, 2003
to the Maxima mailing list (communicated to me too)

http://www.ma.utexas.edu/pipermail/maxima/2002/002824.html

the pdf version of his so interesting DOE-Maxima Reference
manual can be found (even today) at the address:

http://starship.python.net/crew/mike/TixMaxima

in its modified and improved form of September 2002.
I am not sure about any recent revisions.

I believe Mike has no objection to downloading and reading,
but for distribution a request should be made directly to Mike.
As far as I am concerned, I had distributed the Manual to
some of my students after a permission by Mike.

The commercial Macsyma documentation is also very
interesting and much more extended of course, but it
also includes the improvements in commercial Macsyma
not present in Maxima so far. Moreover, no copying
and distribution seem possible without a written permission
by the present owner of the rights.

I do not know if I have added something to this question.

Best regards from Patras,

Nikos
