Maxima on Fedora or RHEL?

Hello *,

Is anybody using Maxima on Fedora Core 1 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0?
The exec-shield patch in the kernel breaks most lisps. What lisp should I 
install? Are there plans to fix various Lisps so that they work with such
kernels?
