My earlier message that the linsolve problem worked on maxima 5.9.0 was
incorrect... it has DX where it should have coef_y.
Stavros pointed out that algsys works on this one, but solve fails.
My guess is this is yet (another) bug related to expressions that are
made into CRE expressions in some incorrect manner, jumbling the
correspondence between internal generated symbols and external
names.
