Hello everyone,
I compiled and installed clisp 2.32 on my Slackware 9.1 system,
using gcc 3.2.3. I then built and installed Maxima 5.9.0. Everything
in these steps went smoothly.
But diff doesn't work. Other functions seem fine - integrate,
solve, etc. It just formats the expression with d/dx:
(C1) diff (cos(x), x);
d
(D1) -- (COS(x))
dx
(C2) integrate (cos(x), x);
(D2) SIN(x)
No error messages are printed. Any ideas as to why diff isn't working
as expected?
