My suggestion is
1. Get latest GCL CVS - ^M bug was fixed a few days ago.
2. Get and install latest mingw binutils 2.15.90 20040222.
I should mention this from very beginning, sorry I forget it.
Maybe important.
If 1+2 will not help then there is still small possibility
what something is wrong with gcc 3.3.3 - I've not tried
it yet. On Linux it works well.
