bugs in maxima with clisp under cygwin

One of the posters who  replied  had mentioned the CVS
version having the fix
(http://www.math.utexas.edu/pipermail/maxima/2004/007257.html).
  Since the patch has been out for nearly a year (or
more) now, it was a reasonable question.
