Well, basically I display a mathml page in the mozilla window. But
editing xml documents is not as well supported as editing plain html
documents in wxmozilla (the bridge between wxWidgets and mozilla). The
biggest problem is, that currently I have to repaint the whole window to
add new output (since it is an xml document). This of course makes it
unusable for any serious use.

The fonts depend on the gtk2 theme. The one on the pictures is the
default on Fedora. I think it is Sans. Are your fonts different from
fonts used by other gtk2 apps?
