inline plots in maxima/texmacs session

Hi!

Since I got texmacs running these days, I am experimenting with 
documentation of maxima sessions.
I wonder,if there is some way to render the output of maxima's 
plot statements directly inside the session?
All options I tried either produced a seperate graphics window or 
a seperate file.

This should be possible, since yacas' Plot2D command inserts a 
gnuplot this way, shouldn't it?
