I have two problems with beta2 Windows installer
and one with beta2 tarball:
1). Two files readme.txt and InfoBefore.txt are missing
at directory interfaces/xmaxima/win32
2). Maxima doesn't work to me on Windows Me - I checked on
several machines. Old story - xmaxima starts but unable
to lunch maxima session.
3). Stubbornly describe doesn't work to me with beta2.
Notice that 2 and 3 are OK with beta1 and my own
local Windows Maxima installer builds (beta1 + some
modifications to allow path with white spaces).
Works fine.
Issue 2 is probably simple. David, maybe you oversimplified
Win 9X related code in xmaxima? Does it work for you?
Which Windows - 98, ME ?
Issue 3 bothers me most of all - I'm trying to find out why
si::info works in one case and fails in another - no
idea yet.
