Thanks a lot for your reply.
I do as follows (as you suggest):
1) install clisp-2.33.1-1 from cygwin
2) download maxima-5.9.1.tar.gz
3) tar xzf maxima-5.9.1.tar.gz (under cygwin)
4) ./configure (in directory maxima-5.9.1)
Then something wrong appears when checking:
checking for gcl... false
checking for lisp... false
checking for sbcl... false
checking for lisp... false
checking for openmcl... false
Then the checking halted.
How should I do now.
ps. I cann't find gcl-cygwin.
