wiki as a place for proposed changes, was: cleanup after merror & CS error

I appreciate your work (as everybody else here, I guess) so please
don't be offended if I beg to differ in a somewhat blunt fashion:

1) I don't mind where to put the code as long as I don't have to use some
web interface to put it there.

2) I do intend to keep the discussion about it on the mailing list.

Personally, I'd like to see the wiki as more of a HAKMEM kind of
thing, with contributions which last a bit longer than the time it
takes me before committing some proposed fix :-)
