I wonder if there is a solution. Rewriting eq2 as a ratio
of polynomials and looking at the numerator, there are
terms of mu_sc of degree greater than 4.
hipow (expandwrt (num (lhs (ratsimp (expand (eq2)))), K_sc, mu_sc),
mu_sc)
=> 7
I'm inclined to take this as a sign that the problem
is hard, but I'm not very good at algebra. Maybe someone
else would care to weigh in here.
If there is no solution, it would be nice if algsys would
say so instead of bombing out with a Lisp error. Oh well.
