I haven't changed any user visible codeing - the interface for the
user is still the same. What I have changed though, is the coding
inside. The changes consist mainly in removeing the maclispisms in the
code and replacing it by the usual common lisp way of handling arrays.
I hope the code gets some scrutiny and you find the changes helpful.
