Tested on sbcl, works like a champ. Thanks! Eliminated the "false"
appearing out of nowhere too.

Done. Changes committed. Looking better and better. I also set
ratprint to false inside processunits since any non-integer activity
seems to trigger it - if someone needs it I can make it an option
later.
