Hi all,
I have several questions about Maxima CVS version:
(compiled with gcl 2.6.5 with ansi rules under Debian
GNU/Linux 3.1 (Sarge))
For instance:
(%i6) sin(%pi);
(%o6) 0
(%i7) sin(%pi),numer;
(%o7) 1.224606353822377E-16
Why the result in %o7??. The number in %o7 is very small, but
should must be zero??
Another question:
In the stable version i can use de command history, but in the
cvs version no, why??? Is neccesary some option in the compilation
moment to support this setting?.
The last question:
In the CVS version of Maxima i have this problem:
(%i1) Sin(%pi);
(%o1) Sin(%pi)
(%i2) sin(%pi);
(%o2) 0
Only in the form of (%i2) the Sin function work fine. I don't know why
this behavior.
Thanks,
