floor, ceiling, and friends

There is nothing more effective than public humiliation
(and maybe sleep) to shake up your thinking. Unless you
would like to marvel at my abject silliness, wait a few
days before downloading nummod.zip.

I've fixed the bug(s), but I have not yet changed the file on my
webpage -- give me a few days to try to find more. The bug was
in floating point code that is supposed to be a _nearly_
foolproof method for finding the floor and ceiling of
constant expressions.

If Maxima programming were easy, I'd loose interest.

Barton
