If you are used with translation using gettext tools in a day or two you
can have a decent first translation.
If you are _not_ used with gettext and .po files _but_ you use Linux you
can use kbabel. I use emacs but it is _not_ for newbies...
If you use Windows you can use poedit (http://www.poedit.org/) and,
although I do not use it, you can post me any problem you may encounter...

I'm checking every month or so for the italian translation and this is
