manual translation language rules

I don't see troubles here.  CVS commit message always say 
/doc/info/Affine.texi or /doc/info/pt/Affine.texi

But they are in different directories. Right?

These changes doesn't affect make/install machinery
very much.  In fact I'm really sorry.  Probably very mine
message to this list (somewhere in September) make you
rename Portuguese .texi files in Maxima CVS.

Only later I realized that source .texi file NAMES aren't
important since both makeinfo and texi2html commands
have --output options which allows to set any desirable
name for final .info or .html files.

Once again sorry for any inconvenience.
But personally i like common scheme
/doc/Affine.texi
/doc/pt/Affine.texi
and I'm going to follow it with Russian
translation.
