another batch/pipe question... input.mac | maxima fails...

ha. if only this situation were unique.

you can try replacing the *QUERY-IO* in RETRIEVE (src/macsys.lisp)
with *STANDARD-INPUT*.
that probably means either rebuilding maxima (and shipping the
rebuilt image) or loading a batch file. dunno if that's workable for you.
also i don't know if this modification goofs up normal operation
of asksign or batch files.
