Subject: unit step functions and laplace transforms

Hello:
I'm new to this list but could not find in the
documentation or the archives a way to take
Laplace transforms of a translate u(t-a) of a unit
step function in maxima. This seemed odd to
me since it does handle delta functions. Am I
missing something? If not, are there plans to add
functions of the form f(t)*u(t-a) to the domain of
the LT?
