As a new Maxima user it took me a while to come across wxMaxima as an
alternative GUI.
I'm happy for it to stay a separate project but at Maxima installation a
direct reference to its availability,
or perhaps a pointer to a short comparison of available GUIs and there pros
and cons should
be flagged at install time. (It may already be there but not prominent
enough that it registered with me).
