Commercial Macsyma returns, for the first one,
y(x) = (((11 * sqrt(2) * log(x^2 + 2) + 4 * sqrt(2) * log(x^2 + 1) - 34 * x
* atan((x/(sqrt(2)))) - 30 * sqrt(2) * log(x) - 4 * sqrt(2) * x * atan(x)
- 38 * sqrt(2)) * y)/(8 * sqrt(2))) + %k2 * x + %k1
The second one returns instantly with false.
