Small problem with carriage return.

Hello with all,

In xMaxima with Maxima 5.9.3 and 5.9.3.99rc1 under Windows XP,
when I enter the following sequence of character I obtain a syntax error :

          (%i1) "m" "," "<ENTER>" "<BACK DEL>" "<BACK DEL>" ";" "<ENTER>"

The syntax error is:

          Incorrect syntax: Premature termination of input At;.
          m, \n;

I tested it in the command line version of Maxima, but in this case, 
the key <BACK DEL> doesn't work after typing <ENTER> key. 
Then nothing can be do to correct entry after typing the <ENTER> key.
In this mode CR (Carriage Return) and LF (Line Feed) characters can't be deleted.

PS: on French keyboard the keys "," and ";" are adjacent.
