newton1 and manual

Oh I see -- we now have newton1 and mnewton. No,
I don't know what's up with that. I wasn't being
careful. I also accidentally loaded an old version
of Maxima. Please excuse my cluelessness.

I noticed that the package "newton1" is not in the 5.9.3 manual.

To use the newton code, you need to load the file newton1, but
the function name is newton, not newton1. The user documentation is clear
about this, and it works for me. I don't see that it would be
all that helpful if ? newton1 told the user that newton1.mac was
the file name for the newton code. Isn't having ? newton work
good enough??
