Hello,
I noticed that, in the current Win-XP release for candidate for
xmaxima one cannot edit output lines with the keyboard. One can
still cut and paste with the mouse.
I am one of those people (and I know many like me) who get slowed
down considerably by the use of the mouse. I want to have the mouse,
but I prefer to have keyboard equivalents for as much as possible.
In fact, this is one of the reasons I prefer emacs (or even vi) to
other editors. There are keyboard equivalents to almost anything one
wants to do.
For instance, if I have produced some output part of which I want to
use as input, it is much faster (at least for me )to get to that with
keyboard shortcuts then being forced to completely move my hands to
use the mouse.
So, I am requesting that 'editing of output lines' be returned.
Thanks,
-sen
