I've built 5.10.0 for Windows and in general it works well
but suddenly I have some very strange problem with it.
If I start wxMaxima right between wxMaxima banner line and
Maxima banner I see extra line
pid=xxxx
where xxxx is some number. This message comes from server.lisp
but mysterious thing is that I don't see this message:
- in xmaxima on all platforms
- wxMaxima 0.7.0 + Maxima 5.10.0 on Linux
- wxMaxima 0.7.0 + Maxima 5.3.99rc4 on Windows
To make sure that my Windows biuld environment (msys, mingw, gcl,
wxMaxima, gnuplot, starkit) was not changed occasionally I
rebuild from scratch Maxima 5.3.99rc4 and 5.10.0 - once again
no pid=xxxx line for rc4 and pid=xxxx line for 5.10.0.
I've established that troublemaker is maxima.exe file
built for Maxima 5.10.0 (I swapped this file manually
between Maxima RC4 and 5.10.0 builds). But I really can't
get why this could happen in principle since difference
between RC4 and 5.20.0 is just few lines and none of these
lines has any relation to the problem.
