plot2d malfunction in command line(Windows)

It might be that gnuplot is not correctly installed in your system. But
just to make sure I understand your problem, what are the results of
the following two commands in your system?:
   plot2d(sin(x),[x,0,2*%pi],[plot_format,gnuplot]);
   plot2d(sin(x),[x,0,2*%pi],[plot_format,openmath]);
