Hi
I understand and appreciate the philosophy of keeping Maxima as
general as possible and independent on the lisp version.
Nevetheless I think that if a specific lisp has a seriour problem
with xmaxima then
either a work-around should be used or
I would propose that at least that specific lisp
should not be used as the default lisp for Windows
and the Linux distribuitions.
