There you go. Camm Maguire is packaging it for Debian. I don't know if
someone else is doing it for Ubuntu. I guess not, since it's in
Ubuntu's Universe repository, which as I understand it is always a
snapshot of Debian unstable? Does Ubuntu take new snapshots? I
remember some discussion in this list about updating Maxima in Ubuntu,
so I take it is possible to synchronise or selectively update parts of
Ubuntu's Universe repository relative to Debian unstable.
