I've been having some difficulty sending new messages to the maxima
list. At first it was due to a faulty alias
(maxima at www.math.utexas.edu instead of maxima at math.utexas.edu) and
then after I fixed that it seemed to work, but although I got a copy
of my email apparently delivered through maxima list, I also got a
bounce from a mail server along the way.
So this is a test of whether a brand new non-reply message gets
through.
Can anyone tell me if they received a message that I sent to the list
about elasticity and solving PDEs with spectral methods?
