Hi Fabrizio,
thanks for looking carefully at xmaxima once again. Problem
(1) was already present in 5.10 and I had not noticed it.
Problem (2) was a consequence of what I did for RC1, to allow
the insertion of new characters at the beginning of a previous
line.
I have just fixed both problems. They seemed minor errors,
but if everytime you edit a line an extra character is added,
it could become really annoying, so I thought they justified a
RC3 and modified it in the 5.11 branch. I hope Robert Dodier
does not find that inconvenient.
