There is a past post about installing commercial macsyma on linux
systems using wine. Has this been accomplished? I tried this yesterday
using the commercial wine, CrossOver from www.codeweavers.com (download
the beta for free). Macsyma installs, accepts the license keys but
unfortunately the mfe, the front end, will not connect with the math
engine.
This would be really neat to get to work but I have no idea where to go
from here. I am more than willing to work on it if someone has a
suggestion or two or three to lead me in some direction.
