You are all bored to death by now about the lexical vs dynamic scope
issues! I am still thinking about this and actually hope to do something
about
it, but currently I need to do other things urgently
(like writing up some papers and preparing a course!).
I also need to brush up my 20 year old lisp experience (I didn't
think I would need *that* ever again:-)
Nevertheless to fix my thought I have written down what I was

I know many of you will not like this proposal. I don't mind since
it is localized and can be implemented in an extension package.
However if you see something I have overlooked (some behaviour
that is obviously wrong) then I will be happy to learn about it.
