numerical solutions to differential equations



Hi Richard,

I'm not sure what the policy is, but in general this list doesn't use
HTML messages. I found yours hard to read due to the fact that I use a
text mode email reader.

Maxima doesn't have this built in, but for a project I worked on
recently I built a special purpose spectral method solver, it was
relatively easy. I would be happy to create a more generic one based
on my code, but I'm not sure what the interface should be. I'd be
happy to have suggestions as to how one would want to use such a
feature. (what information to give it and what sort of thing to return)

I had this problem too. you need to install the maxima-doc package.
