proposal to omit pdf generation of reference manual



I also prefer the pdf version to the html version for many (not all)
purposes.  If I want to print a small section, say pages 20-45, of a
document,  I can do this with a few mouse clicks in pdf.   AFIK, with
html it seems that I have to print page by page.

BTW, a google search shows that there are some html to pdf programs.
I haven't tried any of them.
