Hello,
I must precise that Michael Abshoff planned to verify (if and when time
permits I suppose) that it isn't a regression in bash before reporting
this issue as a bug. My primary concern when I was forwarding this mail
(I'm not a big fan of forwarded mail) was that a new release of Maxima
is planned and this information, whether it's a bug in bash or in the
maxima configure script, should be known to you.
