The problem is the file 'mload.lisp'
In 5.11.0, it had a size of around 35K.
In 5.11.99rc1, its size has been reduced to around 19K
I was explicitly loading this in my startup files. I removed it, and
the 'batch problem' disappeared.
What does mload.lisp do?
TIA,
-sen
