yes, that's a bug in Openmath, not just for plotdf but also for plot2d
and plot3d. That bug has been around for a long time and it has already
been discussed in this list. That's why all the examples given in the
manual section for plotdf are ended with a semicolon and not with a
dollar sign.
I looked at that bug once but I could not figure out how to solve it.
I'll give it another try.
