I have created a Slackware installation package for 5.11.99rc1:
maxima-5.11.99rc1-i386-1_slack_11.0.tgz
and it is now available for download from the main download page
(http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=4933). I have tested
this package on Slackware 11.0 (as the filename also indicates) but it
should also install fine on other recent Slackware releases, as there are no
specific dependencies on the 11.0 release.
